To provide enterprise-grade, 24/7 Managed Security Services, thiinkVP LLC partners with SHEL INFOSEC (PTY) LTD (South Africa).

  • Data Processor Role: SHEL INFOSEC acts as our technical backend provider, managing the Security Operations Center (SOC) and the RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) infrastructure.
  • Shared Commitment: Both thiinkVP and SHEL INFOSEC adhere to substantially similar privacy standards to ensure a seamless “Protective Envelope” for our clients across international borders.

3. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

  • Account & Identity: Name, email, phone number, company name, and physical address for service deployment.
  • Sensitive Disclosures: Information shared during Private Investigations, TSCM sweeps, or security consultations. This information is treated as Highly Confidential and is restricted to “Need-to-Know” personnel.

B. Information Collected Automatically (Silent Edge Users)

  • Telemetry Data: Device ID, OS version, IP address, and system health logs.
  • Security Events: Logs of blocked threats, unauthorized access attempts, and system vulnerabilities identified by the Silent Edge agent.
  • Note: We do not monitor the content of your personal communications; we monitor the security of the environment in which those communications occur.

4. How We Use Your Information

We process your data to:

  • Neutralize Threats: Identify and remediate cyber-attacks via our 24/7 SOC.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain logs required for HIPAA (Healthcare), PCI DSS (Finance), and other industry-specific regulations.
  • Service Delivery: Manage subscriptions, process USD payments, and provide investigative reports.

5. Compliance & International Data Transfers

A. Global Standards: We comply with the US CCPA, EU GDPR, and South African POPIA.

B. Data Residency: Client metadata and security logs may be processed in South Africa by SHEL INFOSEC. We utilize Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and encrypted tunnels to ensure that data transferred outside the US receives the same level of protection as it would domestically.

C. Financial Security: All payment processing is conducted through PCI-compliant gateways. thiinkVP does not store your full credit card numbers on our servers.

6. Data Security & “Zero-Knowledge” Principles

  • Encryption: All data at rest and in transit is protected by multi-layer encryption.
  • Access Control: We employ Zero-Trust architecture. Access to client systems is audited, logged, and requires Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
