thiinkVP LLC – Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Strategic Commitment

At thiinkVP LLC, we provide elite security solutions that require immediate resource allocation, proprietary configurations, and 24/7 analyst engagement.

To maintain the integrity of our “Protective Envelope,” we operate under strict financial protocols. By subscribing to Silent Edge or engaging our Private Security services, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

2. Managed Cybersecurity (Silent Edge) Refunds

Our cybersecurity services are delivered in technical partnership with SHEL INFOSEC. Refund eligibility is dictated by the stage of deployment:

• Pre-Deployment: If you cancel your subscription before the Silent Edge security agent has been deployed to your devices, a full refund of your initial payment will be issued.
• Post-Deployment: Once a security agent is deployed, the service is considered “Active.” At this stage, administrative provisioning, proprietary SOC configurations, and software licensing costs are incurred.
• Payments made after deployment are strictly non-refundable.

3. Cancellation Protocols & The 30-Day Window

Subscriptions to Silent Edge represent a commitment to ongoing digital defense.

• Written Notice: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [Your thiinkVP Support Email].
• 30-Day Notice Period: A mandatory 30-day cancellation period begins from the date of your written request.
• Final Billing: The final month’s subscription fee will be billed regardless of usage. This covers the administrative costs of decommissioning, secure removal of deployed agents, and final threat intelligence reporting.
• Offboarding: During the 30-day window, services will be phased out, culminating in complete data decommissioning.

4. Chargeback Protection & Merchant Integrity

As a US-based entity (thiinkVP LLC), we maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks.

• Setup Fee Integrity: The first subscription payment following agent deployment is considered a non-refundable setup and provisioning fee.
• Dispute Resolution: Clients agree to seek a resolution directly with thiinkVP before initiating a bank chargeback.
• Consequences of Unauthorized Disputes: Any chargeback attempt made without prior written consultation may result in:
  1. Immediate suspension of all security monitoring (leaving devices vulnerable).
  2. Permanent account termination.
  3. Legal recovery of the original fees plus any penalties and administrative costs passed to us by our payment processors.

5. Private Security & Investigative Services

For TSCM, Physical Protection, and Investigative services:

• Retainers: Initial retainers are non-refundable once operational planning or field deployment has commenced.
• Cancellations: For scheduled physical security details, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start time will be billed at 50% of the quoted rate.

6. Discretionary Review

thiinkVP reserves the right to review extenuating circumstances (e.g., documented system errors or accidental double-billing) on a case-by-case basis. Any partial refunds or credits issued are at the sole discretion of thiinkVP and SHEL INFOSEC management.
